DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

YTMP4 respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. YTMP4 is a tool for converting publicly available YouTube videos for personal use; it does not host, store, or distribute copyrighted works itself. That said, we take copyright concerns seriously and will respond to valid takedown requests.

Filing a Takedown Notice

If you're a copyright owner, or an agent authorized to act on a copyright owner's behalf, and believe that content accessible through YTMP4 infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice that includes:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • The specific YouTube URL(s) or identifying information for the material at issue.
  • Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Send takedown notices through our Contact page. Incomplete notices may delay our response.

Blocking Specific Videos

If you'd like a specific video blocked from being processed through YTMP4, include the exact YouTube URL in your notice so we can review and act on it promptly.

Counter-Notice

If you believe content was blocked or removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice through the same contact channel, including your name, contact information, identification of the material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error.

Repeat Infringement

We reserve the right to restrict access to the Service for users who repeatedly submit content that is the subject of valid copyright complaints.

This policy is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. If you need guidance on your specific rights or obligations, consult a qualified attorney.
